My first attempt at having a ramble

Well here I am having a go at putting my thoughts on the net. What do I do, do I complain about the way the world is run or do I just let everyone know what I get up to day to day and all the very unintersting things that happen to me. Here goes - today I felt it was about time to do something about the garden before winter comes along, it rather looks like a bomb has hit it. My dear husband was very loath to help, especially as he says he is on holiday this week and as he is a horticulturist this was a bit like a bus man's holiday. So after a lot of discussion it was decided that we would leave it until later in the week, when he had run out of things to do (not sure what he meant as he appears to be doing nothing). My next bright idea was to do a bit of decorating, this went down like lead ballon, so that idea was shelved. Really must get on with something before the dark nights (and days) begin. Everything always looks worse in artificial light. Anyway hope to get on with something this week (or if hubby gets his own way nothing).
